Air Suite
Project Goals:
When Air Suite approached us, they wanted their new office to inspire connection and serve as a welcoming hub for their hybrid workforce. The challenge was to design a space that balanced collaboration and individual productivity while fostering emotional well-being. To achieve this, we introduced a blend of hospitality and residential design principles.
Breakout zones were created to encourage informal collaboration in both the open lounge area and the community table next to their lunchroom. The individual workstations for their programmers and staff were designed in small clusters with privacy screens throughout the workspace, allowing for virtual calls and focused work that employees need. A number of existing walls were removed from the space to merge two distinct office spaces into one and allow more natural light to flow through the combined workspace. This has enhanced emotional well-being and allowed for better team communication.
The results speak for themselves. Air Suite's employees are enjoying their redesigned workspace, reporting improved collaboration and greater overall satisfaction with their work environment.
Achievements:
“Working with OpenMind Interiors was exciting. They opened our eyes to some new and creative solutions to maximize natural light, ensuring we were set up with detailed, high-quality workstations and furniture pieces that not only look modern and bright, but offer genuine health benefits and comfort. We love our new space."
