Space Planning
Open-Mind Interiors has an experienced team with an extensive understanding of spatial requirements essential to developing plans for effective work environments. Project Management

We also offer a fully refurbished panel system through Teknion which is refurbished at their plant, using the same methods used to manufacture new product.     We have well established relationships with both the Architectural & Design Community and work as a resource for them in a number of ways. Open-Mind Interiors can help designers and architects with technical furniture and demountable wall specifications, workstation assessments, ergonomic programs, budget pricing for furniture projects as well as selecting fabrics and finishes which will enhance their design concepts. Lunch and Learns and CEU accredited courses are offered through our dealership which allow the local A&D community to stay on top of the latest planning styles and newest furniture introductions.

    Open-Mind Interiors can assist you with evaluating your existing furniture and current work environment. As part of this assessment, we can provide our clients with a complete easy to read inventory, allowing you to make informed decisions about your organization’s furniture purchases. We can also assist in identifying and accommodating special needs as required. Taking the time to clearly understand each client’s goals and objectives for what they want to achieve in their new space is a critical step in the assessment process. We have developed workplace evaluation tools that we implement during the assessment phase which allow us to evaluate each individual’s current workspace and create new “standards” which will allow for a happier, more productive team.

  • Delivery & Installation Services

    No matter the size of your project, our fully certified OMI installation team has the experience to ensure a professional product installation that will get completed as promised. Our in house installers have years of furniture installation experience in larger markets with a variety of contract furniture products. This experience is what allows them to be able to anticipate potential issues and plan for on-site solutions. Our goal is to get your staff up and running and to adhere to your project timelines. Every project is installed to manufacturer specifications to maintain full warranty coverage for our clients. We guarantee all of our installations and do not consider an installation complete until the client is 100% satisfied.

  • Warehousing & Inventory/Asset Management Services

    Open-Mind Interiors can manage all aspects of your storage needs. We have 5000 square feet of heated, secure warehouse space in our Thunder Bay facility. Whether you require temporary inventory storage or complete inventory control services, we can help. Having this on site storage available anytime allows us to assist our clients in managing construction delays or unforeseen circumstances on the job site. We can store new and existing furniture at our facility for temporary or extended periods of time and offer full delivery services to bring product to site when ready. Whether you require one bay or a full warehouse, we can accommodate.

  • Move Management

    OMI’s service team can assist you with manage any size move whether it be a single workstation or an entire relocation. We will work with you to coordinate all aspects of your move so you don’t have to. We have moving bins available to rent for contents, bays available to store product and trucks available to move you safely and efficiently.

  • Reconfiguration/Refurbished Systems

    The OMI team can help you get the maximum return on your furniture and demountable wall investment. We are furniture experts. We can work with you to take the furniture or wall components you have already invested in and work them into a new and improved layout. We can find creative ways to update older panel systems by refreshing exterior elements, adding in glass, changing panels heights, and incorporating new storage units and accessories for a new modern aesthetic. Most panel frames, connectors and electrical components can re-purposed into a reconfigured layout which gives you the best return on your original investment. Our planning team can offer many suggestions for reconfiguring your workplace that will meet any budget.
